Since October 7, 2024, the IX edge MIX-Caserta has been active within the DF01 data center of Data Felix, a state-of-the-art facility located in the Ponteselice industrial area of Caserta.
Designed according to TIER III+ standards, DF01 is currently the largest private data center in Campania. It covers an area of 1,300 square meters, with a 500-square-meter data hall capable of hosting over 200 racks. The facility has an initial power capacity of 1 MW, with a planned expansion to 2 MW. Its strategic location allows it to reach over 4 million people within a 40 km radius.
The infrastructure features 2N power redundancy, a 1 MW diesel generator with 24-hour autonomy, and N+1 cooling systems with free cooling. Security is ensured by advanced monitoring systems for humidity, temperature, intrusions, and fire detection.
DF01 has obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.
