Since November 29, 2023, the first PoP of MIX’s IX Edge in the Italian capital has been operational within the Green Data Center Cloud Europe, a Tier IV-certified, carrier-neutral facility located in Rome’s Tecnopolo Tiburtino.
Situated within a campus of over 60,000 m², Cloud Europe’s data center is a key hub for business continuity and one of the country’s main technological centers. Operational since 2010, it stands out for its commitment to sustainability, relying exclusively on renewable energy sources. Thanks to its advanced configuration and strategic location, it has been chosen by hyperscalers, banking institutions, system integrators, and streaming platforms as a preferred site to bring data closer to users in Central Italy.
