MIX Thessaloniki

MIX Thessaloniki is the new Internet Exchange Point launched by MIX, in partnership with Lancom, one of Greece’s leading providers of cloud infrastructure and telecommunications services.

The IXP is hosted at Balkan Gate, a Tier III carrier-neutral data center located in Thessaloniki, a key interconnection hub linking the Balkans, Central Europe, Turkey, and the Middle East. The facility offers high standards of reliability, security, and scalability.

This expansion marks MIX’s first international presence, as part of a broader growth strategy aimed at extending the reach, quality, and resilience of peering services across Eastern Europe.
The partnership between MIX and Lancom is built on highly complementary strengths: MIX contributes long-standing relationships with major global content providers and deep expertise in designing and managing high-performance Internet Exchange Points. Lancom, in turn, brings strong regional presence and a well-established network of partnerships with ISPs and enterprises throughout the Balkans.
