MIX has signed a cooperation agreement with Italy’s National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), as part of the broader coordination effort the Agency has launched with national IXP operators.
The agreement, signed jointly with the TOP-IX Consortium, sets out joint initiatives for sharing information on evolving cyber threats, developing best practices on BGP security, and more broadly supporting the country’s ability to prevent and respond to cyber risks — in line with Italy’s National Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation Plan 2022–2026.
These agreements reflect a shared belief: only through the exchange of experience and public-private cooperation can the national response to cyber threats be strengthened and resilience effectively increased to protect national security.
