MIX has approved the creation of a Temporary Advisory Board with the aim of supporting the development of a next-generation technological infrastructure for peering. This new platform will align with the most advanced solutions in the industry and is designed to be future-proof.
The Board will report directly to MIX’s Technical Management and operate in full coordination with it, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution.
The Temporary Advisory Board will be led by Mauro Roberto Magrassi, CTO of MIX, and will include: Francesco Alberti, Head of Network Engineering at Eolo; Andrea Colangelo, Director of Network Infrastructure at Aruba; Matteo Dalla Ba, CTO at MyNet.
This initiative is also a response to recent challenges, which call for bold and forward-looking action to safeguard and enhance peering services, an increasingly critical pillar of the resilience and development of the Italian Internet.
The Board will operate with maximum transparency towards customers and the market, providing regular updates on the progress of its work and the strategic decisions made.
