One of the latest projects led by Simone Morandini, Service Development Manager, a well-known face of MIX, is the production of the revamped Customer Portal. MIX has released a revamped customer portal, a website designed purely for an enhanced customer experience when using MIX services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe listened to our customers and the revamped Customer Portal has been designed with functionality based on our customers\u2019 needs, part of our continuous effort to provide the best possible service\u201d, said Simone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simone is responsible for the MIX customer interfaces on the interconnection platform and monitoring all activity on the peering LAN. He looks after the internal database which is at the heart of information held at MIX including interconnection resource and service and colocation space used at MIX as well as the automation processes behind the database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is passionate about passing on knowledge to others, explaining the importance of MIX activities for the internet in Italy and is the driving force behind MIX\u2019COOL, a program designed for secondary school students, bringing Italian youth closer to the reality of an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) emphasising the importance of IXPs in exchanging and moving data over the internet infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
