"MIX Italia" contest

Born for encouraging the free exchange of traffic on the MIX,  it gives a six-monthly prize to all MIX members  having  increased their amount of traffic on the MIX public peering VLAN during the referred period. At the end of each semester the MIX board of Directors, analysing  the MIX financial  situation of the period, establishes the value (in Euro) of the prize. All providers connected on the MIX public peering LAN partecipate to the MIX Italia Contest The winners have right to their part of the six-monthly prize on the basis of the amount of MegaMIX generated during the referred period; the winners will enjoy a discount on the next MIX invoice. The MIX Italia results are published anonymously on the MIX web site.

Results of  the second semester 2006: Total MegaMIX during the semester: 12.887 Total  awarded  ISPs : 32 (*) 1° classified: 2.800 MegaMIX 2° classified: 2.770 MegaMIX 3° classified: 1.370 MegaMIX (*) Prizes lower than 50,00 Euro are not assigned

Note: from the six-monthly prize are excluded those ISPs connected to the MIX during the referred semester.
